The Cincinnati Police Department has identified the victim in the deadly shooting on Beekman Street in North Fairmount.
According to police, around 1 a.m. on Tuesday, officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Beekman Street for reports of a shooting.
When arriving on the scene, police said they found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
According to police, the victim has been identified as 18-year-old Emirah Overstreet. The coroner's report has her death listed as an "apparent homicide."
Cincinnati Police Department's Homicide Unit is handling the investigation, and anyone with information is asked to call 513-352-3542.
