Brothers, wife charged in Capital Region Medicaid theft investigation

The owners of three Medicaid transportation companies in Schenectady have been arrested for allegedly stealing over $4.7 million in a Medicaid fraud scheme. According to the New York State Comptroller's Office, Ismat Farham, his brother Effat Rizwan, and Rizwan's wife Fouzie Rizwan have been charged in the scheme.
