Arlington police have arrested a 17-year-old in connection to the death of 18-year-old Yoan Del Risco Falcon, who died at a Fort Worth gas station in late October.

The initial shooting happened on Oct. 25 at an Arlington apartment complex where, police say, a party was taking place. Officials believe the 17-year-old and Del Risco Falcon got into an argument in the parking lot, which escalated to a shooting where Del Risco Falcon was shot.

The injured Del Risco Falcon was put in a vehicle by his friends immediately following the shooting and they began driving looking for a hospital. Despite searching, the group ended up stopping at a gas station in Fort Worth in the 6600 block of Brentwood Stair Road. First responders were called to that gas station and Del Risco Falcon was pronounced deceased at the gas station.

Homicide detectives continued the investigation, which eventually led to the shooter being identified as a 17-year-old boy and an arrest warrant being obtained for one count of Murder. They also learned he left the state a short time after the shooting happened.

U.S. Marshals Service members found the teenage shooting suspect in South Dakota and took him into custody. He now awaits extradition back to Tarrant County.
